Board of Advisors - Public Policy, Poverty Alleviation and Women Affairs Geographic Area: Africa Mrs. Adesoye, Folasade Sidikatu (FCA), is The 20th Head Of Government Service Of Lagos State, Nigeria. She is also the former Permanent Secretary of the Civil Service Pensions Office, Local Government Establishments, Training and Pensions Office, Ministries of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and Energy and Mineral Resources respectively. She holds Masters in Public Administration from University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is also an alumnus of the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, USA and Ogun State University, Nigeria. Folasade is an accomplished fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountant of Nigeria and quintessential Administrator with special
interest in Research, Business Development and Investment Appraisal .
She was born on 28th December, 1959 at Ebutte-Metta, Lagos. In recognition of her sterling performance and contributions to the
development of the State, she was elevated as a Permanent Secretary in
December 2010 and deployed to the Civil Service Pensions Office, Local
Government Establishments, Training and Pensions Office, Ministries of
Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and Energy and Mineral Resources
respectively. In 2017 she published a paper tilted
Policy Innovation: Challenges and Opportunity discussing
government best practices and detailing her vision for a better
government policy making framework.
