   • PESTEL Risk Analysis Framework: Political, Economic, Societal, Technological, Environmental and Legal Risks
   • Understanding different categories of risk, their statistical frequency, behavior and impact
     •  Linear vs. exponential risk events
     • Black swans, catastrophic risk, and the limitation of of the bell curve and normal distribution models
   • Forecasting statistical probability of risk events, timing and impact analysis-matrix.
   • Value at Risk (VaR) calculation model
   •  Delphi forecasting and scenario analysis
3. Strategic Risk Control Frameworks
   • ISO 31000: The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) risk management principles,  processes and guidelines
   • COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework
   • RIMS Risk Maturity Model: ERM development and maturity scorecard for improvement across five key pillars: Strategy Alignment, Culture & Accountability, Risk Management Capabilities, Risk Governance, and Analytics.
   •  Risk management standards and regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting
4. SStrategic reward / risk thinking model and decision-making framework for risk acceptance vs. avoidance vs. transfer vs. acceptance

Performance Evaluation (Optional)

• Performance evaluation is optional and can be evaluated on the basis of individual or team project deliverables

• There are no Q&A exams or tests. Candidates can choose to complete customized experiential work-based projects such as developing a relevant analysis document, management strategy, action plan, or a senior management presentation

• The course advisor will review the deliverables and provide improvement feedback. The evaluation is a form of management consulting and experiential coaching for performance improvement
